Hello,
First off, we're really pleased with this list so far! The list has just
passed the 50 subscriber mark, with 56 list members currently on this
list. :-) That's beyond my wildest dreams, since it's only been just
over 2 weeks since this list started!
Second, since Stephen and I have been doing fine tuning with list info
and configuration, some people have probably not seen the finalised form
of the (new) subscriber information which is delivered on joining the
list. I'm putting that text at the end of this letter, so that those who
haven't done so may read and keep it.
Third, it's been suggested to us that there should be a digest format of
the list. We are currently investigating whether this is possible or not,
and hopefully we can eventually have this available.

The Corrs Mailing List is dedicated to fan discussion about the band;
music, lyrics, news, albums, concert reviews, band members, and so on.
The list is meant as a virtual meeting place for fans to talk with each
other. While discussions may sometimes cover a wide variety of topics,
the focus of the list is The Corrs and their music.
Common rules of Netiquette should be followed when posting to this list.

The list is managed by an automated server program called Majordomo,
graciously hosted at the School of Mathematics, Trinity College Dublin.

You can send commands to Majordomo by email in order to subscribe,
unsubscribe or to make it do other things for you.

A: Send an email to majordomo@maths.tcd.ie, with any subject and the body
of the email containing "subscribe corrs-list" (without the quotes). If
you are reading this text, you have probably already done this.
Q: How do I unsubscribe from the list?
A: If you got this email in response to subscribing, look at the top of
this email, it should contain the information. In general, you should be
able to just email majordomo@maths.tcd.ie with any subject and put
"unsubscribe corrs-list" in the body of the message (without the quotes).
Q: How do I get basic help on using Majordomo?
A: To get basic help on using Majordomo, you may send an email to
majordomo@maths.tcd.ie with the body of the message containing the word
"help" (without the quotes).
Q: How do I send a message to the list?
A: Send your email to: corrs-list@maths.tcd.ie
The email will be delivered to all the list members, including yourself.
Unlike when emailing Majordomo, please use a meaningful subject for your
message.
Q: How can I see this info text again?
A: Send an email to majordomo@maths.tcd.ie and write "info corrs-list" in
the body of the message (without the quotes).
4. Other information
Please note that replies to list messages are by default directed back
to the list, and you need to change the recipient of your email if you
wish to send a reply privately. Please be careful that you do not post
messages which are intended as private email to the list. You should
also be aware that the list's subscriber list is publically visible via
Majordomo. There currently is no separate FAQ (Frequently Asked Question)
file for the mailing list.
